This verdant district is home to quite a few embassies as well as the University of Washington DC and Howard University Law School. Van Ness is also a short distance from beautiful Soapstone Valley Park. Connecticut Avenue is lined with international restaurants and quick options for students, as well as several hotels. Van Ness is served by the Red Line of the DC Metro.
