Superbly located on a charming, quiet street in the shadow of the US Capitol, Library of Congress, and the House of Representatives office buildings, this 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom second-floor walk-up apartment offers quintessential Capitol Hill living.... Fully furnished and newly renovated with high-end finishes, it features modern furnishings, stainless steel appliances, stone countertops, private HVAC, and an in-unit washer and dryer. With queen-size beds in the bedrooms, a living room sofa, and an optional queen-size air mattress and pack and play upon request, this apartment feels like your very own private oasis in the heart of the city.
The apartment is immaculately clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and the most comfortable, welcoming linens you have ever slept on. Enjoy Giga Blast Business Speed Wi-Fi, free Netflix, and streaming cable. Coffee, fresh towels, and bathroom essentials are provided, and self check-in is available. Pets are welcome with a fee of $75 per pet per week. A Pack and Play and/or high chair can be reserved in advance for a $25 rental fee. Several parking options are available, including advanced parking pass or parking space reservations. Use of the parking space is at the sole risk of the vehicle owner or driver.
The nearby micro-neighborhood of Barracks Row is a must-experience in DC, where vintage storefronts hold oyster houses, pubby bars, and foodie-focused restaurants. By day, the neighborhood is buzzing with everyone from senators and Supreme Court justices to law clerks and Capitol Hill staffers. By night, it becomes a focal point for culinary genius, with nationally famous restaurants. Capitol Hill is one of the city’s most popular places to live, with 19th-century row houses, a vibrant nightlife, and dining scene. Tour the U.S. Capitol, the Library of Congress, and other attractions like the Folger Shakespeare Library and the U.S. Botanic Garden. Eastern Market offers a lively weekend bazaar with produce, crafts, and antiques.
Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere in the interior of the building or within fifty feet of the building. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if the odor of smoke is reported. Parties and events are strictly prohibited, and noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay. Exterior cameras record all entries to the building. Certain items should not be flushed down the toilet or put down drains, and plumbing issues caused by these will result in charges. There may be times when the home needs unexpected or scheduled preventative maintenance, and access may be required with 24-hour written notice.
The apartment offers a remote work-friendly environment with Giga Blast Business Speed Wi-Fi.
