I have lived here for the past two years and would recommend it to anyone looking for a spot in DC! Being one block from the Metro is so convenient. My favorite thing of all—the events property management host. When I moved to DC I did not know anyone—through my flat mates and neighbors, I have made so many friends. Maintenance is very quick to respond as well as management. I highly recommend!

The walls in this place are paper thin. You hear *everything* happening in the bedrooms next to you and in the common spaces. If you get a bedroom that has a bathroom that's outside the bedroom, Oslo will tell you the bedroom is larger so it makes up for the bathroom being out in the hallway. This is a lie. The room is the same size as the rest of the bedrooms *and* the bathroom is much smaller in size (counter space and physical square footage is smaller). If they try and make you pay the same... as everyone else who gets a more "private" bathroom, you should refuse. Also: There are often issues with the electronic locks.
Good things about this place: The TV is nice, and if your unit rents common room furniture from Oslo, it's also pretty nice. Kitchen has ample counter space. Oven and stove work great. There used to be a huge package theft problem, but this has since been remedied. Making maintenance requests are pretty easy and they're pretty responsive.

Rent is cheap, if that is all that you care about then this might be a fit, but otherwise, stay away. Building is built cheaply and after only a year of living there the walls began to crack and the frame of our outside door was rotting. Gates into the building were constantly broken and never fixed even after attempting to contact property management many times. During the time the gates were broken my roommates locked bike was stolen and a briefcase was stolen from our apartment. Throughout... both of these separate events the property management company showed no concern and would not allow us to view security tapes with them because they "aren't set up to see people entering and leaving through the basement entrances".

Horribly built building. Only a few years old, and you can tell its already in need of a lot of work. This building is basically a frat house. There are insanely loud parties happening at least 3 nights a week. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing, also ran by a terrible property management company.
