The location is nice (next to Giant, close to the metro and Rock Creek Park), but the walls are shockingly thin for a new-ish high rise. You can hear even the most benign sounds from neighboring apartments (raising the blinds, closing doors, flushing the toilet), in addition to the less surprising noises (dogs, music, sex). The noise insulation at my last building was far superior.
The elevators are on the slow side (only 2 plus a freight elevator that is only available a fraction of the... time). On the positive side, the conceirge staff are friendly and the maintenance team is responsive.

I loved living at the Pearl

The Pearl is by far one of the nicest apartment buildings in Silver Spring. I lived there from July 2017 to August 2020 and loved it.

Second to None!

Over the past three years, my experience at The Pearl has been wonderful. The location is convenient to everywhere, daily needs can be satisfied via walking distance, the building is luxurious and well kept. All of the staff is professional and courteous. I've enjoyed all of the quality amenities and extra services to make life more enjoyable. The grounds/green spaces are wonderful. And, I've felt safe and secure. The Pearl is second to none!

after the first week its hell

before moving in, i would recommend speaking to a few resident or you'll be locked in to two years of hell. appliance breaking, elevators not working or long line due to our having two available for over 1000 people.
