Older building with great staff. Apartments have been renovated and are a great size for studios and 1 bedrooms. The only downside is that there is always a lot of construction going on but it comes with the territory as they are trying to upgrade most apartments and the exterior of the building to cater to residents.

Staff at this property are friendly. Maintenance is responsive, and the location can't be beat. Telecommuters may find challenges such as noise and water shut off due to ongoing construction. Since management controls whether we get A/C or heat, there may be a few hot/cold nights as the seasons transition. Overall, an average apartment experience for NW DC!

I live in a 450 square foot studio. It's the smallest layout in the building, however, it is an extremely good use of space. The kitchen is separate and so is the closet area, so it doesn't feel as though you're cooking right next to your pillow! All appliances and granite counter tops are upgraded so it gives this older building a newer feel. The windows are huge letting in lots of light! On once side, you have an excellent view of Meridian Hill Park, and on the other a good view of the city space from the higher floors. A 24 hour concierge and a rooftop area are added bonuses which make this apartment building safe and enjoyable. It doesn't have a pool or a lounge area, and the gym is sub-par which is why I gave 2112 4 stars. I love living here and would recommend it!
